Henan EC teach you how to install spc floor

1. Prepare
– Adapt to the environment: Leave the SPC floor in the room for at least 48 hours to adapt it to the temperature and humidity of the room.
– Ground treatment: Ensure that the ground is clean, dry and level. If the ground is uneven, it needs to be levelled with self-leveling cement.
2. Lay moisture-proof course (if necessary)
– If there is moisture on the ground, it is recommended to lay a moisture-proof film.
3. Lay padding (if necessary)
– If the floor does not come with its own padding, a layer of padding can be laid to increase comfort and sound insulation.
4. Start laying the floor
– The first row of floor: Lay the first row of floor from one side of the room, taking care to leave 8-10 mm expansion joints, so that the floor has room to expand and expand when the temperature changes. Use spacer blocks to maintain even gaps.
– Latch connection: Place the latch edge of the first floor towards the wall, and insert the latch of the second floor into the notch of the first floor. Tap gently with a rubber mallet to make a tight connection.

5. Cut the floor
– If you need to cut the floor, you can use a cutting knife or floor cutter to make precise cuts according to the measurement results.
6. Lay subsequent floors
– Staggered laying: The subsequent rows of floors should be staggered, that is, the seams of each row of floors do not align with the seams of the previous row, to increase the stability and beauty of the floor.
– Latch connection: Insert the long side latch of the floor into the notch of the previous row of floors and gently tap it with a rubber mallet to make it tightly connected.

7. Treat the last row of flooring
– Measurement and cutting: The last row of floors may need to be cut to accommodate the distance of the walls, taking care to leave 8-10 mm expansion joints.
– Installation: Insert the cut floor into the notch of the previous row of floors and gently tap it with a tie rod and a rubber mallet to make it tightly connected.

8. Install the baseboards
– After the floor is laid, install the kickers to cover the expansion joints to make the whole look more beautiful.
